The Basics (Map, Fees, Contacts)

The Club is situated in McLevin Park at 180 McLevin Avenue (Off Markham Rd. 1 light north of Sheppard Ave.E.,between Markham Rd.& Neilson Rd). There are 3 lit courts; parking; shared use of the Club House & easy access to public transportation. The Club operates from mid April to late October. Public hours are Saturday and Sunday only from 6pm-11pm.

2009 Fees:
Adult 20+) - $60 April-May 31st: $65 from June 1st
Intermediate (16-19)- $25 April-May 31st: $30 from June 1st
Junior (6 -15) - $20 April-May 31st: $25 from June 1st
Senior (60+) - $40 April-May 3st: $55 from June 1st
Family (max.2 adults) - $140 April-May 31st: $150 from June 1st
Guest fee is $5 per person per session(subject to court availability)

Discounts: Register by May 16, 2009 and take advantage of the "earlybird" discount. Also, if you bring in 2 new members before June 30, 2009 your membership is free (adults must bring adults to qualify for this discount).

Tennis Social Events & Lessons

McLevin Park hosts regular social events centered around the game we all love to play. Events include:

BBQ and Breakfast Roundrobins (weekends): McLevin Park hosts monthly BBQ, corn-roasts, pot-lucks and/or breakfast tournament socials. Members are welcome to invite non-member guests and partake in non-competitive doubles tennis matches. A small fee applies to cover cost of food and refreshments (those contributing to the food/refreshments do not have to pay). McLevin Park is a very culturally diverse club and international pot-lucks are very popular here, where you can sample some of the best food from across the globe, prepared by our culinary-savvy members.

Canada Day Roundrobin (holiday): Each year McLevin hosts a Canada Day tournament, which usually includes a BBQ, pot-luck or breakfast. Members are encouraged to come out sporting red and white attire to celebrate this nations birthday, and play our 9th most popular national pastime...tennis! Usually non-competitive doubles matches. A $5 usually applies.

House League (Mondays): doubles competition from 7-9pm for 10-12 weeks starting in late May 2008.

Tennis Lessons & Clinics: The club also offers tennis lessons coached by an OTA certified instructor for adults and juniors, as well as doubles tennis clinics. We offer group as well as private lessons at a fee and FREE lessons for juniors (under 16yrs at Jan.1/08) on Sundays June 8, 15, 22 & 29, 3pm-4pm.
